PURPOSE:To connect effectively photoconductor rods protected in pipes by disposing a spacer between the photoconductor rods and the pipes via jelly-like optical glue or adhesive agent having the refractive index smaller than the refractive index of the photoconductor rods. CONSTITUTION:A protective plate 131 is removed from a flange 141 and jelly 201 is removed then the jelly-like optical glue 20 is adhered thereto in the stage of connection. The spacer 21 is thereafter inserted between the photoconductor rod 101 and the pipe 111 on the rod 101 side until the spacer contacts with a stopper 181. The photoconductive pipe on the photoconductor rod 102 side is inserted to the photoconductor pipe on the rod 101 side inserted therein with the spacer 21. The rods 101 and 102 are joined via the respective glue 20. The jelly-like adhesive agent 22 is injected through an injection hole 21a to adhere the rods 101 and 102 and the spacer 21 and thereafter flanges 141 and 142 are connected. |
