PURPOSE:To prevent dying-out by disposing thermocouples detecting the gas combustion of a sub-burner through the safety valve and by stopping the flow of gas by the action of the safety valve when the sub-burner has died out. CONSTITUTION:After beginning of combustion of a sub-burner 10, a thermocouple 17 detects the flame of combustion and a safety valve 11 acts, and gas maintains flowing condition even when letting a knob alone. On the one hand, where the controller plate 20 closes the passing-through opening 22 of a packing 21, the duct 6 at the side of a controller part 9 stops the flow of gas toward a main burner 8 side. When the gas flows into the main burner 8, the combustion begins by the ignition from the sub-burner 10. In order to make this ignition easy, the main burner 8 is provided a slit flame hole 25. Next, even when the flame of main burner 8 has died out unexpectedly, the sub-burner 10 is burning always, so the combustion returns to normal condition by the ignition and when the sub-burner died out, the safety valve 11 acts by the detection of the thermocouple 17 and passing hole 13 of gas is closed. |
