PURPOSE:To reduce springback even when employing an amber member thus to press into desired shape by forming a line through half etching in the surface at the folding section at the skirt of shadowmask then folding the skirt section along said line. CONSTITUTION:A line 3 is formed around the effective area section 2 formed with many holes of a shadowmask 1 prior to pressing. Said line 3 is in the form of a continuous groove formed through half-etching simultaneously with etching of hole through said section 2. Said line 3 has such function as reducing the bending strength of shadowmask 1 to facilitate folding of the skirt section 4 and to reduce springback. Preferably, the width of said line 3 is 0.5-2mm. while the depth is 50-90% of the thickness for an amber member. |
