"FUEL ASSEMBLY FOR PRESSURE-TUBE REACTOR" A cluster type nuclear fuel assembly for a pressure-tube reactor wherein a plurality of fuel rods are longitudinally arranged so as to form concentric circular outer, intermediate and inner fuel rod arrays. Most of the fuel rods disposed in these fuel rod arrays are formed of a plutonium/uranium mixedoxide fuel material, and the remaining three or four fuel rods disposed in the intermediate fuel rod array are formed of an enriched uranium oxide fuel material containing therein a burnable poison. These fuel rods containing burnable poison are regularly disposed at substantially equal distance adjacent each other in the intermediate array so that they are arranged to be in a substantially uniform distribution in the fuel assembly.
