PURPOSE:To achieve highly accurate polishing through uniform polishing work by mounting the domed face of a lens on a base of approximately same shape then rotating the lens holder with proper diameter around the rotary shaft eccentric from the axis of said table. CONSTITUTION:A lens 24 has the tip section 11' mounted on a rotary mounting base 11 of approximately same shape with the domed lens while a lower pressure rod 15 separated by the distance R1 from the shaft 12 is fixed to the rotary board 14 secured to the drive shaft 12 having the axis matched with the center A of a rotary member 11 to described a circle of radius R1 around the center A. A rotary body 16 will rotate around the contacting position with the rod 15 (r) time during single rotation of the rod 15 by a motor 13 through a gear 17, a bar 21 and a hook 22. The lens holder 23 will rotate around the eccentric shaft B separated by the distance R2 from the axis of the rotary member 16 and when defining R1, R2 properly, the central locus of the holder 23 will described a circle to polish the lens 24 finely.
