PURPOSE:To obtain a multipipe cylindrical stream down liquid film type heat exchanger which is capable of supplying stably an about identical quantity of liquid to each pipe, by arranging a plurality of short pipes extending downward from a liquid distributing box in a concentric state positioning in the middle of a ring of a heat exchanger to pass through the liquid so that the liquid flows above an upper tube. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of parallel and vertical heat exchanger pipes A-I is arranged concentrically and the top 30 of them are extended upward slightly from the top of an upper tube plate 14. As for a bottom plate 46 of a liquid distribution box 50, liquid distribution pipes D1-D10 are fixed to a concentric circle positioned in the middle of each circle of pipes A-I in an extending state downward and the lower edge 54 of the liquid distribution pipe is positioned slightly above the top of the tube plate 14. When the liquid is supplied to the liquid distribution box 50 being turned by a driving mechanism from an inlet liquid supply leading pipe 56, the supply liquid flows to the top of the tube plate 14 by passing through the distribution pipes D1-D10, and when a liquid level on the tube plate 14 arrives at the tips 30 of the pipes A-I, the liquid is overflowing into the pipes A-I as stream down thin liquid film. This thin film is cooled indirectly by heat exchange through an ammonia liquid of a trunk 12 side. |
