PURPOSE:A modifier for improving easily water repellency, oil repellency, hydrophilic nature, antistatic properties at the interfaces between materials of polyolefinic resin or on the surface of them, consisting of a graft copolymer of a specific maleic anhydride modified polyolefinic resin and a reactive polymer. CONSTITUTION:A maleic anhydride-modified polyolefinic resin containing 2- 20wt%, preferably 4-15wt% maleic anhydride unit is reacted with a polymer containing the maleic anhydride unit and a reactive functional group, to give a graft copolymer. Polypropylene is preferable as the polyolefin. A prepolymer containing a hydroxyl or amino group at an end (preferably at one end), having 500-20.000, preferably 1,000-15,000 number-average molecular wight is used as the polymer containing the reactive functional group. A weight ratio of the polyolefinic resin/the prepolymer is 95/5-5/95, preferably 80/20-20/80. |
