PURPOSE:To provide a hot-melt adhesive having excellent low-temperature processability and high heat resistance, suitable as an interior material for automobile, and composed of specific amounts of a thermoplastic polyester resin and a thermoplastic nylon resin each having a specific melt index. CONSTITUTION:A hot-melt adhesive having the form of e.g. film, etc. can be produced by mixing (A) 100pts.(wt.) of a thermoplastic polyester resin (a homopolymer or copolymer obtained by the polycondensation of a dibasic acid, a 2-15C glycol and a hydroxy acid, etc.) having a melt index (MI) of 5-200g/10min (at 190 deg.C under 2.16kgf stress), (B) 5-80pts. of a thermoplastic nylon resin (e.g. aliphatic polyamide such as nylon-11) having an MI of 5-150g/10min, and if necessary, (C) other additives, kneading the mixture at a temperature above the melting point of the components A and B, and extruding in the form of a film, etc. USE:Interior material for automobile, interior material for building, e.g. ceiling material, flooring material, etc.
