<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a controller of a hot water reserving type electric water heater preventing heat loss through the remainder of the water from occurring and eliminating troublesomeness in handling of the titled heater for a user, by controlling automatically a quantity of electrification to a heating unit based on a bathing pattern. CONSTITUTION:A setting switch 1 can set selectively, for example, either ''bathing daily'' or ''not bathing on the next day of bathing'' and a set signal is sent to a microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 receives a detected signal from a flowmeter 3 of supply water and decides whether there had the bathing or not. A comparison part 9 receives the detected signal from a hot water temperature sensor 2, the value of which is compared for a predetermined period of time and the minimum value is applied to a necessary calorific value correcting part 10. The necessary calorific value correcting part 10 is a device indicating boiling up capacity (calorific value) of the next day, and if the appointed day is one having the bathing at the time of a bathing pattern of ''not bathing on the next day of bathing'', the part 10 instructs an operating part 11 so that the heating up capacity for the next day becomes small. A control part 12 receives operational result from the operating part 11 and electrification to a heater 5 is controlled.</p> |
