PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the rate of success in the automatic feeding of wire electrode by varying the tension of wire in plural stages corresponding to the types of wire electrodes, and varying wire electrode delivery force while automatically feeding a wire electrode. CONSTITUTION:When a paper tape 109 bearing information indicating the types of wire electrodes is inputted in an NC unit 105, in a control circuit of an electromagnetic brake installed in a brake roller, one of plural number of relays 110 is turned on corresponding to the type of a wire electrode since the wire electrode delivery force by a pinch roller while automatically feeding the wire electrode, is a value in which a brake torque and the reverse torque (nearly constant) of a wire feed reel are subtracted from the rotation torque of a pinch roller, the wire electrode delivery force can be varied by varying a brake torque. Thereby, the rate of success in automatically feeding a wire electrode can be remarkably improved. |
