PURPOSE:To provide the titled elastomer having good tensile strength, resilience, resistance to heat and weather, etc. and excellent thin film forming properties, by heat-treating a specified olefin resin mixture in the presence of an org. peroxide. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. blend consisting of 80-10pts.wt. peroxide-crosslinking type olefin copolymer rubber (A), 10-80pts.wt. peroxide-crosslinking type polyolefin resin (B) and 50-10pts.wt. peroxide-decomposing type polyolefin resin (C) is melt-kneaded in the presence of 0.05-3wt% org. peroxide such as dicumyl peroxide by heating at 150-280 deg.C and at a shear rate of 10-10<4>/sec to partially crosslink the blend, thus obtaining the desired thermoplastic elastomer.
