<p>PURPOSE:To improve the connecting accuracy of a CTL (connection test line) sharply by rewinding a tape precisely by the length of integer times that of the CTL even if a means to be used for ordinary connecting recording is not adopted because of the short length of tape rewinding when the tape is rerecorded after being rewound by a prescribed length. CONSTITUTION:Since a pinch roller is turned off at an end point t4 of recording, the tape is rewound to the feed reel side by its loosened length due to the action of a tention regulator. Since the tape rewinding variable is changed in accordance with brake ON timing, the rewinding variable can be controlled by adjusting a delay time tau. Namely, the rewinding variable is made just integer times the CTL. Since the rewinding variable is changed also by the capacity of the pinch roller, a few dispersion is generated and the dispersion can be adsorbed by adjusting the delay time. If the rewinding variable reaches one CTL, data can be correctly superposed by one track at a rerecording time.</p> |
