<p>The compounds of the formula I, in which the substituents have the meaning mentioned in Claim 1, are obtained by condensaton of 6-(D-2-amino-2-phenylacetamido)penicillanic acid having an optionally protected acid group with an N-protected amino acid of the formula HOOC-CH(NHZ)-CH2COR<3'> or HOOC-CH2-CH(NHZ)-COR<3'>. The novel penicillins obtained in this manner are antibacterially active and are suitable as animal feed additives and for the control of infectious diseases caused by Gram-positive or Gram-negative bacteria. <IMAGE></p> |
