PURPOSE:To provide a rubber compsn. capable of forming a cutting blade rest material having excellent durability and resistance to impact and cutting without damaging a cutting blade, by blending an acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer rubber, a phenolic resin and rubber compounding chemicals. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer rubber having a bonded acrylonitrile content of 30-40%, 70-100pts.wt. phenolic resin and conventional rubber compounding chemicals (e.g. crosslinking agent, crosslinking aid, filler, etc.) are blended together.
