PURPOSE:To make it possible to adjust suitably a distance between piping points of the respective rollers and facilitate the change of gage, by revolving the displacing the respective top rollers around the central axes of the corresponding bottom rollers as a revolution center. CONSTITUTION:The respective top rollers (1T), (2T), (3T) and (4T) in a sliver draft part are revolvable and displaceable around the central axes of the corresponding bottom rollers (1B), (2B), (3B) and (4B). The change of gage is carried out to give the distance between the respective nipping points of the respective rollers a little longer than the fiber length according to the change in the fiber length of the sliver constituent fibers without moving the bottom roller group. |
