PURPOSE:To enhance durability, by composing the pair point of the connection rod for connecting the crank and slider of a reciprocal slider/crank mechanism to pair with a screw and changing the length of the crank by the rotation of the screw. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 8 is driven to upwardly and downwardly move a horizontal rail 6 so as to bring the same to a desired height corresponding to that of an article 2 to be painted. With the change in the distance between the output shaft 36 of a speed reducing apparatus 31 and the input shaft 41 of a gear apparatus generated by the up-and-down movement of the horizontal rail 6, a propeller shaft 32 is extended and contracted. When a motor 30 is operated, rotary force is transmitted to a crank shaft 21 through the propeller shaft 32 and the gear apparatus and the rotary motion of the crank 19 is transmitted to a slider 16 through a connection rod 20 and the slider 16 is reciprocally driven on the horizontal rail 16.
