<p>PURPOSE:To disperse cells uniformly in a liquid culture medium, by rotating a cultivation vessel on the horizontal axis thereof, and moving particles to be dispersed or suspended multiplicative cells in the mixing system. CONSTITUTION:A liquid culture medium 3 containing cells 2 added thereto is filled in a cylindrical closed cultivation vessel 1, which is rotated on a shaft (X) at a constant rotational speed. The cells 2 change the existing position relative to the outside of the cultivation vessel 1 by the viscosity of the liquid culture medium 3 while scarcely changing the relative position in the liquid culture medium 3. Gravity acts on the cells 2 from different directions one after another to disperse the cells 2 in the liquid culture medium 3 with high dispersibility.</p> |
