<p>The method is intended for producing a seed pot to germinate plant seeds in a nursery. Granular inorganic material, pref. rock wool granulate, is mixed in a pre-determined ratio with a bonding agent, pref. a water-sol. polymer, and the mixt. is pressed into the desired shape to form the pot. This shape is pref. cylindrical with at least one (conical) recess in its upper surface. A number of such pots may be placed in recesses in a carrier and seeds placed in the recesses after which the carrier with pots is covered with a layer to check evaporation and the layer moistened.</p> |
