Apparatus for finishing a workpiece comprises a resilient abrasive finishing element 68 arranged for motion relative to a workpiece surface 64 and in pressure engagement therewith. Two elements may be freely rotatably mounted in a housing 74 which is also mounted for rotation and acts to confine dust produced during working. The elements may be geared together and arranged for operation on a cylindrical workpiece. A resilient conical element may be provided for finishing a bore in a workpiece. <IMAGE> |
