INFORMATION RECORDING DISK AND ITS REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reproduce a desired information signal recording area by recording an address signal for resetting intermittently at positions preceding the desired information signal recording area. CONSTITUTION:An information signal which contains at least a video signal in every turn is recorded on a spiral or concentric tracks of an information recording disk as variation in geometric shape at a rate of plural fields. Then, an address signal for random access is recorded while superposed on the video signal at a specific period within each vertical blanking period. A figure shows the spiral track or concentric tracks connected linearly in a lateral axis direction as one track and also shows only three kinds of address signal for track position identification (chapter address signal C, time address signal T, and page address signal P) among recorded signals typically in a longitudinal axis direction.
