PURPOSE:To input a fixed language quickly and precisely by reading out a word from a storage part in respose to a keyed signal corresponding to the initial of a keyed word and outputting the read word to light emitting elements formed on prescribed keys. CONSTITUTION:If an READ command is to be inputted, for instance, a language selecting/switching part 12 selects BASIC and applies the selected signal to a display control part 16. When an R key which is the initial of a word is depressed out of keys 4 on a keying part 2, the keyed signal is outputted, converted into a key code signal and applied to a display control part 16 in a light emitting display control part 10. The display control part 16 reads out the word data of READ in BASIC language from a storage part 14 in response to the inputted key code signal and outputs the word data consisting of E, A and D excluding the initial R to respective light emitting elements 5 formed on the keys 4. Consequently, the keys 4 are successively turned on and the operator can input data in accordance with the order of E, A and D.
