METHOD FOR RECOVERING ALUMINUM FOIL FROM ALUMINUM LAMINATE

PURPOSE:To recover efficiently Al foil from an Al laminate by heating the laminate in a nonoxidizing atmosphere to dry-distill paper and plastics, crushing the dry-distilled product, and separating it. CONSTITUTION:A scrap Al laminate is heated to 400-600 deg.C in a nonoxidizing atmosphere to carbonize paper and plastics by dry distillation. The dry-distilled product is fed to a crushing stage to crush the carbonized product, which is then separated from pieces of Al foil. By this method, Al foil is efficiently recovered from the Al laminate.
