PURPOSE:To easily set the position of a spool to its neutral position and two right and left positions, by a single electromagnetic solenoid and a spring. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic solenoid 13, to which a pulse current corresponding to offset voltage is continually supplied, holds a spool 11 to its neutral position in a sleeve 10 by balancing the electromagnetic force, generated in the electromagnetic solenoid 13 by said pulse current, with the tension of a spring 12. The spool 11 slidably moves to one side by the spring 12, whose resilient force exceeds the electromagnetic force, when a current in a value smaller than the value of an offset current is supplied to the electromagnetic solenoid 13, while the spool 11 slidably moves to the other side when a current in a value larger than the value of the offset current is supplied to the electromagnetic solenoid 13. |
