FLOW RESISTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To widen the service range of a flow resisting device by disposing a flow resisting element which is turnable through the axis of a pipe inside a pipe so as to reduce the coefficient of friction of flow against the pipe and also reducing a pressure loss when the flow rate is high. CONSTITUTION:A turning straight pipe 5 which can be turned through the axis of a pipe axis 4 and consists of a flow rate distributing element 11 having orifice holes therethrough is disposed inside a stationary pipe 3, whereby reducing the coefficient of friction of flow against the pipe when the flow rate is high. The pressure loss is therefore reduced. The pipe 3 may have a properly set pressure loss in the range of low flow rate while the pipe may have a reduced pressure loss in the range of high flow rate. Since the driving capacity of a pump can be increased, the application range thereof may be widened.
