<p>PURPOSE:To realize highly efficient signal coding by using vector quantization and combining both a signal source with a synthesis filter optimizingly at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A framing signal (x) from a buffer 10 is fed to a subtractor 160. When frame signals J, l from a control section 191 are outputted, a signal source series Sj is outputted from a signal source memory 131 and a coefficient set Al is outputted from a coefficient memory 132. A synthesis filter 150 forms a synthesis signal Yjl from the Sj and Al. A subtractor 160 calculates the difference between the Yjl and the voice (x) and an error power calculation section 170 calculates an error power Ejl. The control section 191 receiving it seeks j, l minimizing the error power Ejl while the j, l are changed. Thus, the minimum value of the error voltage Ejl is obtained, the j, l are coded and outputted via a terminal 2. Thus, highly efficient signal coding is realized.</p> |
