PURPOSE:To increase air tightness and improve output by providing a bar type recess part on the end of an air chamber partition plate which partitions an air chamber space formed between a rotor and a cylinder into two chambers, and inserting an air tightness maintaining bar into this recess part. CONSTITUTION:A cocoon-shaped rotor 2 is fitted in a cylinder 1 and an air chamber 8 formed between the rotor 2 and the cylinder 1 is partitioned into two chambers by an air tightness partition plate 9 provided in a partition plate chamber 5 for the cylinder 1. The section of the air tightness partition plate 9 is formed into a sector shape. Near the straight line part at which a plane surface part 9a crosses with a curved surface part 9c of the partition plate 9, is formed a groove 9d which is parallel to said straight line, and an air tightness maintaining bar 13 is inserted into this groove 9d. And, a pressure gas port 9e is opened from the curved surface part 9c to the groove 9d, to energize the air tightness maintaining bar 13 to be slidingly brought in contact with the rotor 2 by means of an operating gas pressure. |
