PURPOSE:To uniformize the magnetic flux distribution in yokes and obtain an iron-core reactor having reduced loss and lowered noise level, by winding a silicon steel ribbon in the form of a ring, providing the thus wound ribbon with a radially extending cut part for preventing the flow of circulating current, thereby forming an iron-core block, and disposing this block at each of the upper and lower ends of a main leg core. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic flux shunting wound core block 8 is disposed at each of the upper and lower ends of a main leg core 3 formed by piling up radial core blocks 7. Each wound core block 8 is formed by winding a silicon steel ribbon in the form of a ring. The block 8 is partially cut so as to provide a radially extending cut part 9 for preventing the flow of circulating current. The outer diameter of the block 8 is made equal to that of each iron block 7. A central bore 8a for fastening is provided in the center of each block 8. The blocks 8, together with the main leg core 3, are fastened and secured to yokes 2 by means of a fastening and connecting member 6. Thus, there is a reduction in the amount of magnetic flux flowing from an interphase central yoke 1 to the yokes 2 through the steel sheets in the direction in which they are laminated and in which the magnetic reluctance is high. It is, therefore, possible to reduce iron loss at the yoke portions and also prevent the occurrence of local heating. |
