In the battle-tank turret whose crew compartment (6) is particularly strongly armoured (8, 9), all those equipments which are not functionally required in the crew compartment (6), especially the power supply device (10), electrical and electronic assemblies (11) and ammunition (12), are arranged in compartments outside and behind the crew compartment (6). This arrangement achieves a major reduction in the size of the particularly strong armouring (8, 9) of the crew compartment (6). <IMAGE>
