PURPOSE:To relieve excavating torque and decrease power, by a method wherein, during excavation by means of a multishaft earth auger, high pressure water is injected through a portion in the vicinity of adjoining excavation heads to loosen the ground in a spot which is excavated by means of excavation heads located on both sides. CONSTITUTION:Left and right high pressure water injection nozzles 23 and 24 are disposed in positions above and in the vicinity of an excavating head 20 of a central rotary shaft 5 of a multishaft earth auger. Through rotation of rotary shafts 4, 5 and 6, the ground is excavated through the working of excavation heads 20, 21 and 22, and simultaneously, high pressure water is injected through the left and right high pressure water injection nozzles 23, 24. In which case, the around in spots where excavation is effected byh the excavation heads 21 and 22 is loosened by means of high pressure water, and this relieves excavation torque and decreases the power. |
