PURPOSE:To make it possible to run an automobile by a starter in an emergency running range, and as well to prevent a danger due to erroneous operation by the driver, by providing an emergency circuit for enabling a starter motor to rotate irrespective of a set position of a shift lever. CONSTITUTION:An automobile control device 1 is provided therein with an N range detecting circuit3 which is a nondrive range detecting circuit which issues a signal when a shift lever is set to its neutral position, and a starter control circuit 6 having a relay, for issuing a signal which enable a starter motor 5 to rotate when a starter switch 4 connected in series to the circuit 3 is turned on. In the vicinity of the driver's seat, there is provided a first switch 8 which is an emergency circuit and which connects a vehicle power source 11 in series with the relay 51 to allow the motor 5 to rotate, and thereby, the motor 5 is rotated irrespective of a set position of the shift lever, to make it possible to carry out emergency running of the automobile. |
