PURPOSE:To provide a semiconductor composition obtained by doping a thiophene copolymer with an anion, having excellent chemical stability, and capable of being subjected to the polymerization reaction and the doping process in one step to deposit a film on the electrode, thereby enabling the elimination of the molding process. CONSTITUTION:The objective semiconductor composition can be prepared by doping a polymer composed of the recurring unit of formula (n is 2 or 3) with an anion. The anion is tetrafluoroborate ion, perchlorate ion, hexafluorophosphate ion, bisulfate ion, trifluoroacetate ion, hexafluoroarsenate ion, sulfate ion, or p-toluenesulfonate ion.
