PURPOSE:To provide the titled paint obtained by adding a specific amount of electrically conductive white powder to a copolymer containing a specific acrylate monomer and a hydroxyl-containing monomer, capable of forming a coating film having excellent antistatic property and adhesivity, and suitable for a container or building material, etc. made of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective paint can be prepared by compounding (A) 100pts. wt. of a copolymer having a glass transition temperature of 20-70 deg.C and containing (i) 75-98mol% acrylate monomer of formula I (R1 is H or methyl; R is <=10C alkyl) and (ii) 2-26mol% hydroxyl-containing monomer of formula IIor formula III (R2 and R3 are H or methyl; m is 1-10; n is 1-9; k is 2-10) with (B) 70-350pts.wt. of electrically conductive fine powder having white color (e.g. powder composed mainly of tin oxide and having an average particle diameter of <=0.2mum).
