PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium which has the high adhesive strength to a substrate, the excellent releasability from a stamper and high solvent resistance by providing an undercoating layer formed of a specific photosetting compsn. on the substrate and providing a recording layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:The photosetting compsn. which contains mono(meth)acrylate such as alkyl (meth)acrylate and monomer such as 1,3-butandiol(meth)acrylate or the oligomer thereof and monohydroxybenzene or reducing agent such as ascorbic acid or aminophenol and is further added with a suitable sensitizer and storage stabilizing agent if necessary is dropped onto a mold 2 made of Ni, Cr or the alloy thereof provided with a rugged pattern 1, by which a layer 3 is formed. The substrate 4 consisting of polymethyl methacylate or polycarbonate is superposed on the layer 3 and radiations such as UV rays (shown by arrows) are irradiated thereon to cure the layer 3, thus forming the cured layer 3'. The united body of the substrate 3 and the layer 3' is stripped from the mold 2. The optical information recording medium having the good solvent resistance and transferrability of the rugged is thus obtd. with the good release property from the mold 2. |
