<p>PURPOSE:To feed electrical power to a steering switch in a contactless condition to eliminate a slip ring, by arranging a solar battery cell panel on the lower surface of a steering wheel, surrounding around a steering column. CONSTITUTION:Electrical power fed from a power source to a light source 6, is converted into a photo-energy by the light source 6 and is received by a solar battery cell panel 5 where the energy is again converted into an electrical energy 15 to be fed into a steering switch 8. Thus, the delivery of energy may be established in a mechanically contactless condition between the stationary light source 6 and the solar battery cell panel 5 which is rotatable together with a steering wheel 1. A photosensor 32 receives a light energy 31 generated from a light emitting diode 30 to which a pulse signal 2 is fed, and delivers an electrical power to a control box 20.</p> |
