PURPOSE:To enable a printing head to be efficiently reciprocated and contrive a reduction in the size and cost of a driver, by moving an engaging part of a cam follower lever rectilinearly in parallel to a guide body. CONSTITUTION:In a rotating angle range of 0 deg.-theta2 of a disk form cam plate 15, a cam follower 27 is slidden in a groove cam 15a while turning the cam follower lever 25 in the direction of an arrow (a). A guide lever 39 is turned in the direction of an arrow (c) with a fixed shaft 41 as a center as a planetary gear 43 is rotated, thereby turning the lever 25. A printing head 13 is moved along a printing line of a recording paper, thereby printing. In the rotating angle range theta2-2pi of the cam plate 15, the cam follower 27 is slidden in the groove cam 15a while turning the lever 25 in the direction of the arrow (a). A driving pin 29 is returned to an original position, and a carriage 9 is slidden on a guide shaft 7 while returning the head 13 to an original position. |
