<p>PURPOSE:To magnify, reduce and rotate pictures on a CRT in the horizontal direction at a high speed by transferring picture data of image memory to frame memory by word unit. CONSTITUTION:The 1st RAM10 is constituted of n-bits X n-words, and ''read and write'' in two directions, that is, row and column directions, can be possible. Address information with respect to the 1st RAM10 is given by the 1st address generator circuit 11 where reduction data and magnification data are inputted. Picture data readout from the 1st RAM10 is transferred to the 2nd RAM13 by word unit. The 2nd RAM13 is constituted of l-rows X k-columns, each word containing n-bits, and ''write and read'' in two directions, that is, row and column directions, can be possible. Address information is given from the 2nd address generator circuit 14 to the 2nd RAM13. Picture data readout from the 2nd RAM13 is supplied to a CRT9 through a shift register 15.</p> |
