PURPOSE:To prevent troubles due to inoperation caused by, for example, neglect of duty or erroneous operation by a crewman, by eliminating a power source circuit exclusively used for a security brake, and by incorporating such a circuit in a circuit for an emergency brake. CONSTITUTION:A power source for a wiring 110 is cut off when a contact 13 in a brake valve 12 in a leading vehicle A is moved to a position E or when an electrical contact in an emergency brake switch 15 is turned off. Solenoid valves 5, 8 establish pneumatic circuits when the power source for the wiring 110 is cut off, and therefore pressure is fed into a relay valve 6 and a selector valve 9. Thereby the valves 6, 9 feed pressurized air into circuits 6', 9', and therefore, pressurized air is fed into a circuit 11 through a valve 10 to brake a vehicle. In this case, the air pressure in the circuit 6' is set to be slightly higher than that in the circuit 9' to be used for emergency brake operation, thereby, when the power source is cut off, emergency brake operation is effected. |
