The device for cleaning photographic supports has at least one cleaning brush (9) which partially protrudes from the housing (2, 3). The housing (2, 3) is formed, on the inlet side and outlet side, with oblique surfaces (2a, 3a) which extend transversely to the direction of transport (16) and are inclined towards the cleaning brush (9). The ends of the oblique surfaces (2a, 3a) are adjoined by bent guide pieces (2b, 3b) pointing towards the cleaning brush (9). Between the oblique surfaces (2a, 3a) and/or the guide pieces (2b, 3b) of the housing (2, 3), guide rods (18, 19) are located which extend parallel to the direction of transport (16).
