PURPOSE:To make the filling and keeping of the clogging preventive liquid in the layer of air possible, by a method wherein the air flow supply system is provided with the releasing means by which it is always opened to the air and at the same time, the valve equipment by which the ink supply system is closed in non-printing operation time, is installed. CONSTITUTION:When the staying air in an air supply tube 15 is expanded by the rise of the ambient temperature of the circumference in non-printing operation time, the air is successively leaked from the aperture 22 of a minute diameter arranged between the valve equipment 17 of air supply tube 15 and the ink drop injector 1 and the ink filled in the air layer 8 does not flow reversely. Further, to prevent the reflux of ink more surely, the valve equipment 23 composed of a constant closed type two-way valve or the like is arranged in the midway of ink supply tube 12 and the ink supply tube 12 is closed in non-printing operation time. Thus, the clogging preventive liquid in the air layer 8 is filled and kept in the specific air layer and the clogging of the orifice 10 can be prevented. |
