PURPOSE:To enable to perform a measurement without the breakdown of a substrate, by a method wherein a pore, connected to the outside, is machined in a peripheral surface of a cylinder type cavity resonator, the substrate is applied on the pore from the outside, and a mechanism, moving in parallel to a mechanism for turning the substrate, is mounted. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder type cavity resonator 11 is located between magnetic poles 12 and 12'. A pore 13 is formed in the peripheral side of the resonator 11, and a substrate 14, being a sample, is placed in the proximity of the pore. The substrate 14 is held by a holder 16 rotatably mounted in a plate 15. The plate 15 is located such that it holds the holder 16, and with this it can vertically move along a guide 18. A rack 19 is mounted to other side of the plate 15, and a pinion 20 gears the rack 19. Additionally, the substrate 14 can be turned by manually spinning a dial D set to the holder 16 and can be moved in parallel in a direction along a gap between magnetic poles. This permits all parts on the substrate to be applied on the pore 13. |
