A pair of end pieces (13, 14) is attached to in each case one end of one of the conductors (11, 12), and the end pieces are connected to one another electrically and in an articulated manner. These end pieces (13, 14) are at least partially spherical in shape in their end regions (15, 16) which are more remote from the associated conductor (11, 12), the centre of said sphere lying on the longitudinal axis (19, 20) of the associated conductor (11, 12). In addition, means are provided in order to lock the mutual angular position of the rigid conductors (11, 12) which are connected by means of the arrangement (10). In order to improve the contact-making of the arrangement (10) without the assistance of connecting sleeves and/or additional flexible conductors, the said end regions (15, 16) of the end pieces (13, 14) have an at least approximately hemispherical shape, bounded by an equatorial plane (17, 18), the centre of which hemisphere lies on the longitudinal axes (19, 20) of the two conductors (11, 12). The equatorial planes (17, 18) of these end regions (15, 16) are detachably clamped to one another, such that they abut smoothly, by means of a bolt arrangement (23, 29). <IMAGE>
