PURPOSE:To simplify a construction of a switching converter and to reduce the size and the weight of the converter by connecting the gate of a switching MOSFET with the output terminal of a controller, thereby eliminating a pulse transformer. CONSTITUTION:The gates of switching MOSFETs Q1, Q2 connected with the primary side windings NP1, NP2 of an output transformer T are respectively connected with the output terminal of a controller CNT in which a negative connecting point is connected with the negative terminal side of an input DC power source, and a gate drive pulse is applied from the controller CNT directly to the gates of MOSFETs Q1, Q2. Diodes D3, D4 are inserted between the gates and the sources of the switching power MOSFETs Q1, Q2 to align zero levels. |
