Plastic bottles with a low-germ, preferably sterile, interior volume are produced by extruding a tube of plastic material, then cutting off a tube piece (parison) and inflating this tube piece in a blow mould by means of a blowing mandrel. The blowing tulip thus formed is melt-closed at the unfilled plastic bottle so as to be airtight and, after the shaping of the plastic bottle, is left on the latter sealed in an airtight manner. The airtight melt-closing of the blowing tulips can be carried out by exerting pressure on the still-fusible hot blowing tulip wall, but also by, directly after shaping, fusing two plastic bottles together with their blowing tulips pressed against one another. A device serving for carrying out the process has, adjacent to the introduction opening of the blow mould (3), a pinch device, in particular pinch jaws (13), for the blowing tulip (8). <IMAGE> |
