PURPOSE:To obtain a very highly accurate type wheel of a simple constitution in which paired projections or recessions for measuring contraction rate are provided on both sides of the type. CONSTITUTION:The type portion 6 of a daisy type wheel consists of a base seat 7 on almost the same level as sporks 2, a projected letter 8, e.g., stroke letter, and projections 9 and 10 projected downwardly from both ends of the letter 8. By measuring the length C1 between both projections 9 and 10 when molding materials are altered or even when molding conditions are changed, the contraction rate of the letter 8 of the length B1 can be exactly measured and a measure can be quickly taken for the alteration. Type wheel of very high accuracy can thus be obtained. |
