PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of an operation for checking input by providing a speech output device which stores preliminarily the speech data for each base code and outputs the same as speech and checking the data inputted to a computer by the speech. CONSTITUTION:A device for treating gene sequence is constituted of a digitizer 10, a keyboard 20, a computer body 30, a display device 40, the speech synthesizing and outputing device 50 which stores preliminarily the speech data corresponding to each base code and outputs individually the base codes determined by the computer body 30 as the speech and a printer 60. The device 50 outputs the base code from the body 30 as the speech when the film 1 on which the X-ray image of the base sequence (DNA sequence) is picked is placed on the digitizer 10 and when the coordinate value of a card 2 on which the base codes (A, G, C, T) are displayed is inputted to the body 30. Continuous inputting is thus made possible without changing the visual line and the working efficiency is improved. |
