摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image suitable for image formation by coherent monochromatic light by providing a photoreceiving layer made into the multi-layered constitution disposed, successively from a substrate side, with an a-SiGe layer and photoconductive a-Si layer on a substrate having a specifically sectionally shaped surface. CONSTITUTION:The photoreceiving layer 1000 made into the multi-layered constitution formed, successively from the substrate 1001 side, with the 1st layer 1002 contg. a-SiGe and the 2nd layer 1003 contg. photoconductive a-Si is disposed on the base 1001 formed with the many projecting parts having the projecting shape superposed with a sub-peak on a main peak in the sectional shape in the prescribed cut position. If coherent monochromatic light such as laser light is irradiated on such layer 1000, the interference receives the synergistic effect in the respective layers and therefore the higher effect is obtd. for preventing the interference as the number of the layers constituting the layer 1000 is larger. The interference fringes arising in the very small parts do not appear in the image as the size of the very small parts is smaller than the spot diameter of the irradiating light, i.e., smaller than the resolution limit. Ge in the layer 1002 is continuously distributed in the region over the entire layer and the interference due to reflection from the substrate surface is prevented.
