An apparatus for pouring molten metal comprises a crucible for the casting composition and a casting mould, into which the molten metal, under external gas pressure, is forced from the crucible via a connecting line. The casting mould here consists of an embedding compound which is situated in a cell and into which are introduced, by the known lost-wax method, cavities which determine the subsequent shape of the end products. The cell with this casting mould is placed on the crucible and the connecting line then dips into the molten metal in the crucible.
