PURPOSE:To decrease the time needed to reset to an original point and to shorten the processing cycle time by discriminating the positional relation between the contents of a storage register which stores and renews the position of the rotary shaft of a numerical controller and a prescribed original point and driving with control a motor by an original point reset instruction. CONSTITUTION:When an original point reset instruction is supplied from an input medium 1, an arithmetic unit 2 discriminates the positional relation between the contents of a register 3 which stores and renews the position of a rotary shaft A of a numerical controller and a prescribed original point. Then the device 2 controls the drive of a motor 5 via a servo mechanism 4. The register 3 is cleared in an original point reset end state where the coincidence is obtained between an original point reset sensor C and an original point dog B. This reduces the time needed to reset to an original point and shortens the processing cycle time. |
