PURPOSE:To obtain an image pickup device with excellent S/N by providing a conductive filter in an incident optical path to an image pickup device and applying grounding with a lens barrel. CONSTITUTION:The filter 6 comprising conductive mesh electrodes is arranged in the lens barrel 1 and the filter 6, a lens 2, a diaphragm 4, and the image pickup tube 3 are connected to a common earth potential by means of the lens barrel 1. Thus, a noise component invaded to the image pickup device via an image pickup optical path is grounded via the mesh electrode filter 6 to improve the S/N of the image pickup tube 3.
