Composition and method for the selective stimulation of the D-2 dopamine receptors in humans by administration of a therapeutically effective amount of 2-(N-phenylethyl-N-propylamino)-5-hydroxytetralin or a pharmaceutically compatible salt or ester thereof to a person requiring D-2 dopamine receptor stimulation.
